Hardwood - Casement Windows
Windows can be in any configuration with any combination of opening sections. As standard we make dummy sashes for the non opening sections as this gives a more uniform look to the product as a whole. Casement windows can be made with leaded glass or with Georgian glazing bars.
Cranked Casement Handles
Strong well made handles for casement espagnolette locks.
Performance endurance tested to 25,000 operations. Corrosion resistance for Gold / Chrome and Satin meet the requirements of BS EN 1670 – grade 4 (240 hrs Salt Spray). White paint finish – meets BS EN 1670 – grade Montravius Adams Authentic Jersey 5 (500hrs Salt Spray).
Handles Come in Brass, Chrome, Satin Chrome and White.
Espagnolette Locks
2 and 3 point locking system for added concealed security. Endurance tested to 25,000 operations. Corrosion resistance meets requirements of BS EN 1670:1998, Grade 3
Restrictor Friction Hinges
Restrictor Hinges are designed to provide protection against accidental falling.They have a unique smooth operating mechanism that restricts the Montravius Adams Jersey initial window opening to 100mm in compliance with BS 8213, Part 1: 2004 ‘Code of Practice for Safety in Use and in Cleaning’ and BS EN 14351-1:2006 ’Load bearing capacity of safety devices’.
Butt Hinges
Double phospher bronze washered brass butt hinge. Hinges can be in Bronze, brass, polished chrome and polished nickel
Hardware for Sliding Sash Windows
Trickle Vents
Simple condensation control. Trickle vents can be pre-fitted at no extra charge. Either white or brown will automatically be chosen to match the window palette. ABS, for long life. Maintenance free.
Draft Seals
All external doors and windows are fitted with low friction tough and durable draft seals. Draft Seals come in black, brown and white.

Paints and Tints
Our joinery is available in a great variety of colours and tones.
- For paint finishes on internal and external joinery we can reproduce any colour.
- For lacquers on internal joinery we can supply you with a clear or tinted finish.
- For lacquers on external joinery the finishes must be tinted to combat UV rays and to help with the longevity of the laquered protection. The tints will certainly alter the colour of the natural timber. Please see charts.

For extra stability we can use engineered timber in the construction of our windows. This helps significantly reduce distortion that can occur with solid wood.
